LEE King-cheong

Lee graduated from the Academy’s School of Drama in 2001 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) Degree, majoring in Acting. During his course of study, he was twice awarded the Outstanding Actor Award for his performances in All God’s Chillun Got Wings and When the Dream Fades, and also the Central Plaza Scholarship. After graduation, he performed in productions of various theatre companies. Recent performances including Toilet Plays, Blossoms in the Wind 2, Snow in June and Ruan Lingyu (Macau Tour). Apart from engaging in performances, Lee is also an active theatre education practitioner. In 2003-2004, Lee participated in Junior Secondary Drama Teachers’ Training and S2 Drama Curriculum Publication Project, which were sponsored by the Quality Education Fund. Lee was responsible for the junior secondary drama curriculum planning and project implementation. Lee was the half-time drama teacher at the Baptist Lui Ming Choi Secondary School, and was the full-time drama teacher at the QualiEd College. Currently Lee is a freelance actor and a member of the Christian Theatre Group.
