As an art which is recognized as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, the Argentine Tango, now familiar around the world, was very popular in Seoul, Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo, Paris, London and other capitals nowadays. Musicians, dancers and other artists are fascinated by the passionate and exotic culture of tango.
The course introduces fundamental techniques, and acquaints students with physical control, awareness of connection, movement, and music, in which students can share the joy of dancing. Apart from demonstrating tango, students could understand a proper body placement and connections, leading the improvements in body posture and shape from dancing. Throughout the course, students will develop Argentine tango dance rhythm awareness and enhance dance leading skills. Solo dancer or students without prior dance experience are welcome to apply.
