The Film Workshop has invited screenwriter/director Jimmy Wan, who has been nominated twice for Hong Kong Film Awards Best Screenplay (“Zero to Hero”, “Love Off the Cuff”), to provide a unique opportunity to gain insights from scriptwriting and directing into the decision-making process involved in filmmaking. Through this workshop, attendees can explore the factors that guide a director's decisions from scriptwriting through the end of the film production. The workshop aims to explore the impact and significance of effective decision-making in scriptwriting while providing valuable insights into Jimmy's personal experiences of his decision-making process. Interactive and discussion sessions will be incorporated to facilitate engagement and exchange of ideas between the participants and Jimmy.
