The Intermediate Ballet course covers a wide range of ballet steps, including barre work, ports de bras, adage, pirouettes, batteries, small to big jumps and other techniques.

 

The course is for participants (aged 13 or above) with three to five years of recent training in Ballet or who have attained Intermediate Level in RAD. 


** This course includes a live piano accompanist.

  • Tutor's Profile

    Tutor: Wong Mui Tasha

    Tasha started learning ballet at the age of eight and was trained at the Hong Kong Academy of Ballet. In 1986, she was awarded a scholarship from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund to study at the Royal Ballet School of London. Upon graduation, Tasha was invited to join the Hong Kong Ballet in 1988. It took her a mere three years to establish herself as Principal Dancer with the company. In 1994, Tasha joined the Singapore Dance Theatre and has since taken on numerous lead roles in both classical and contemporary repertoires.

     

    Tasha has performed in many countries and was the guest artist for Queensland Ballet, the Hong Kong Ballet Group and DanceArt Hong Kong between the years of 2000 and 2004. Tasha is currently a freelance dancer and teacher. In 2003, she was invited to teach ballet at both the Academy and Architanz in Japan.
