    Senior lecturer in Voice Studies, Discipline leader of the Musical Theatre Curriculum School of Drama, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

    Mr. Li is an Estill Master Trainer and a highly regarded private singing coach, known for his work with popular singers including Louis Cheung, Kay Tse, Keung To, and Lyman Hueng. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and the first Chinese person in Britain to be awarded The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) bursary.

    After graduating from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a major in Acting, he further pursued his studies at the Birmingham School of Acting (BSA) and graduated in 2010 with an MA in Professional Voice Practice, earning distinction. He distinguished himself as the Drama Scholar of the English Speaking Union and participated in the Voice Teacher's Course at the Royal National Theatre studio, collaborating with internationally renowned voice practitioners like Patsy Rodenburg, Jeannette Nelson, and Kelly McEvenue. Launching his career in London, he excelled as a TV and film actor, theatre practitioner, and community arts worker. His notable TV credits include Casualty, Judge John Deed (BBC), Ultimate Force, and The Bill (ITV), while his theatre credits encompass performances such as Moonwalking in Chinatown at the Soho Theatre in 2007 and Sweet Mandarin with True Heart Theatre in 2009. Moreover, he has made numerous voice-over and commercial appearances throughout his career.

    Mr. Li has extensive experience as a director, working on a range of musicals such as Children of Eden, Rent, Songs for a New World, Spring Awakening, and more. He has also directed other productions including The Songs for a New World, Love at First Snow, and My City, My Home. In addition to his directing work, he has served as a voice and singing coach for productions such as Woman in Kenzo and Man of La Mancha.
