Theatre Jazz is often seen on Broadway stage and known for its highly entertaining quality, rich in storytelling, serving in musicals’ dance numbers.
The class will be a fusion of authentic jazz movements, ballet techniques, modern dance, and occasionally tap/rhythm dancing. Combining a Jazzy feel to it, Theatre Jazz has more options for themes, choreography, and style. Students will be required to learn dance terminologies, incorporate a series of exercises focusing on training of Theatre Jazz technique and dance combinations. Students without prior dance experience are welcome to apply.
